The Draft is a good outcross option for Warmblood breeders looking to improve the attitude and strength of their lines. Drafts have high relaxation and high confidence, due to their gentle nature, and can add a lot of power and impulsion into your bloodline! They aren't known for speed or bascule though, and certainly not good rhythm or collection!

Registering a Draft

In order to be registered as a Draft, they must have 100% Draft blood. After they have been riding tested for the Draft breed, they are able to get approved with up to two Warmblood registries.
